Saturday March 19th Message and prayer

The US ambassador to the United Nations has said that African states cannot remain neutral on the war in Ukraine. Speaking to the BBC, Linda Thomas-Greenfield noted that in the General Assembly vote two weeks ago to deplore the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 17 African countries – half of the world total – abstained and another eight did not vote at all.

The ambassador said there can be no neutral ground, and that this crisis was not simply a Cold War competition between the West and Russia.

The diplomat also said the US would support South Africa’s offer to mediate between Russia and Ukraine.

On March 13th, I wrote – “South Africa has been approached to play a mediation role.” Now this possibility has come round again. It looks like our prayers are being heard in heaven. The U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. has underline the possibility of South Africa being involved in some form of peace negotiation. Progress in prayer. Let’s keep at it.

  1. Abigail Ashitey says:

Thank you Lord, for your mercies towards us, who are so undeserving sometimes. Lord, please be present in this mediation and let cool heads prevail, in Jesus name.

  2. Margaret Biney says:

Father we continue to cry onto you that every difficult heart will melt and bow at the mention of the name of Jesus!! And allow South Africa to mediate and bring peace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth Amen
