Poland’s PM proposes ‘fully cutting off Russia’s trade’ with the EU, while Boris Johnson says Vladimir Putin cannot be allowed to succeed in his invasion of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskiy has called for “meaningful and fair” peace talks over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“It’s time to meet. Time to talk. It is time to restore territorial integrity and justice for Ukraine. Otherwise Russia’s losses will be so huge that several generations will not be enough to rebound.”
“The war must end,” he added. “Ukraine’s proposals are on the table.”
This is the Ukrainian President, and there is a lot of truth in what he says. The generational damage of war is beyond calculation. The grieving, the anger and representment, the distrust between Nathanson – these are the things Putin is not considering. Tyrants never do. Hitler didn’t and even after all these decades, there is still pain, hurt and distrust.
Let’s pray that the Ukrainian President’s words will find a home in the hearts of Russia.
