There are little joys hidden away in missionary work. About 4 years ago, an urgent message came to the church on our base. One of the babies of the church –  Faith –  had drank kerosene and had been rushed to hospital. The church prayed passionately, and Faith survived. When she was well, her mum brought her to church and as I held her in my arms, I realised that it was the prayers of God’s  people which had given us back this child.

The years passed. Last week the Beloved Missionary school opened for its next term. Apostle Paul sent me a photo of a beautiful healthy little girl, and under it he wrote “Faith’s first day at school!”

It’s these little joys which keep us working in the Lord’s vineyard!
