Anita runs the shop on our base for the school and it’s going very well. From small beginnings she now employs 3 people. Recently the parents asked her to do breakfast food for the children, and some of them order her food to take home in the evening.

She is a brilliant cook. But it’s a big responsibility and she’s getting up currently at 2:30 in the morning to begin the cooking process for breakfast. Then a team arrive to cook the lunches for the children.

To support her we have just begun a WhatsApp group called “Grow Anita’s business.” It’s not just what she sells which is so good. All the parents chat to her and we can pick up how the parents are feeling from what she hears.
