Light out!

Monday 10th June 2024

We are in regular contact with our mission base and this week Anita, Paul’s wife was telling us that the power been off for a whole day.

We had forgotten this power struggle back here in the UK. It seems however that it is an unsolvable problem for Ghana. Consumption of electricity keeps going up and up but power creation units are not being built to match demand.

If ever there was a place for solar power it must be Ghana, but it is expensive technology and resources to build such plants are very limited.

So for the foreseeable future, we are going to be using the common Ghana expression “Light out!”
