Jumping!

Monday 8th July 2024

On our base our chaplain – George – is working hard to build links between the school and the church. It’s really important that these two groups work together. There cannot be a school and a church, they must be family together as the work moves forward.

Every Wednesday George holds a worship and praise time in Beloved church on the base. It’s all led by the children and it’s an extremely positive time. Is it loud? Sitting in my office at least 400 metres away the pens begin to jump up and down on my desk as the children start to praise and dance!

I do my best to carry on working but in the end I can’t resist it. Down I go and if anyone looked in they would see granddaddy jumping up and down with the best of them. It’s one of the highlights of my week.
