A big thank you everyone for your prayers about our boarding facility. We now have enough resources to buy 3 of the double bunks for the boy’s room downstairs. Prayer does change things!

But the work does not stop and there are always new challenges to face, so we go to another prayer request. Regular contributions have shown a decline over the years which most charities are facing, making maintaining sustainability an increasing challenge. Nevertheless money does come into the mission for different parts of the work, often when appeals are raised, but not a lot comes in to support the salaries and the ongoing every day needs of the work. There are legal and moral obligations to maintain ongoing salaries, insurances and all the other everyday costs. Our staff now numbers over thirty!

So having succeeded in our previous prayer appeal and for other special development projects, can we all please pray determinedly that the Lord will provide the basic resources for the everyday running costs into the work here on the base. Without it the work will suffer, so let’s get praying!
