What happens next…

Over thirty years our base in Ghana has changed from a plot of overgrown scrub into a complex of beautifully designed and constructed buildings which is home to a thriving church and a school with over 300 children. A rough estimate of value is at about £1m! And crucially – it’s all by faith! We pray and seek the Lord’s provision and people have been moved to contribute to the work, and we are where we are.

But what next? We don’t rest on our laurels. “Without vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18). We need to complete a number of different areas across the base, the main school building being one of them. There is the retaining wall which adds security needing completion at a cost of £7500. £10,000 is needing to complete the main school block, which is already in use. We also need to build a gate and security post at a cost of £2,500. At present we haven’t a hall big enough for a whole school assembly or event. The estimated cost of a hall with extra classrooms is about £100k.

This would ensure that the school and base is well established to take us forward. We don’t have the resources to achieve this – yet.

But that’s not all…

Further over in the valley our plan is to found Faith school. We would need to buy 4 plots which will be about £60k. The budget to build the school including the land is £200k to £250k. This project includes a room for Victory church and possibly space for a pastor to have a small office and facility to at least sleep overnight.

And then….

Grace church is our church in Nsawam. Currently we have no opportunity or funding but we must keep it in our heart as planting churches in the servant style is what the Lord is going to ask us to do over the next 20 years. No figures, no estimates – just the vision.

When God gives us the vision we cannot ignore it and must do all that is within our power to fulfil it. So, we are calling on all those who support us to pray, pray, pray! We have got this far by prayer, which moves the heart of God and moves in the hearts of his faithful people.

Lord – bring it on!
